How a contact prefers to engage with EO — a multi-select checkbox field used for matching, event design, and Forum placement.
Personal Interest captures how a contact likes to engage with EO, as distinct from what they want from it (which is Primary Interest). It's an EO-specific custom HubSpot property and it's a multi-select checkbox — a contact can hold more than one value.
The personal-interest values EO uses
- Forum Fan — the Forum experience is central to why they're in EO; peer groups and confidential sharing are their priority.
- Learner — driven by education, speaker events, MyEO content, and structured learning opportunities.
- Leader — interested in taking on chapter leadership roles, board positions, or committee work.
- Networker — energised by building connections, deal flow, introductions, and the broader EO community.
How it works alongside Primary Interest
